We’re bidding farewell to 2014. Maybe it was a great year; maybe it was a rotten year. Most likely it was a mix of good and bad and ordinary days. Our O gallery reflects that and we love that you share the ups, downs and in betweens with us there. Here are just a few that caught my eye this past week:
Some of our 2014 layouts were about favorite memories like Ms Katy’s Mis. Christmas Memory. I loved the aged look, wonderful journaling and that little dress. Sooo fabulous!
In her Happy New Year! layout, Ann06 focused on good food and friends/family (some of most popular scrapping subjects based on the gallery). Her photo effect and all that sublime blending and painty goodness make this layout exceptional.
Whether it was flowers, pets, wild animals or the great outdoors, the natural world added a lot to our lives in 2014 as in nessita’s stunning Danube Delta layout. The blending, the framing and the textures make me wish I was right there.
Travel and interesting nearby places added another level of richness to our lives in 2014. ValeJules’ gorgeous Saint Pierre et Miquelon with its superb color, textures and paint makes me want to pack a bag and go somewhere.
But it’s those simple, everyday parts of life that are the foundation of our lives here at the O as evidenced in Naadi’s magazine-worthy Highlights of 2014 layout. I love the classic black and white look with a dash of red along with the candid photo. It gives such a great glimpse of real life.
So, on to 2015! We look forward to seeing many more of your wonderful layouts. Happy scrapping!
