Yesterday was our youngest granddaughter's birthday. We placed ourselves at a safe distance from each other in our daughter's garden and were treated to a barbecue and had a magical time together. It's winter and it's cold outside but we stayed warm with an open fires and thick blankets. There are still safe ways to meet but it requires so much more planning than usual. Unfortunately, the pandemic looks to continue, now with mutations spreading rapidly in Europe and elsewhere in the world. Now a whole year has passed and I really hope that next year will be better for all of us.

Process: I placed my photo and clipped it to a fotoblendz and some other layers from Incandescence FotoBlendz No 1. I also added layers which I recolored in to colors from the photo and I left other just as they was. I placed a lace brush from ArtPlay Palette Simplicity and brushes and paper textures from ArtPlay Palette Incandescence. A part of a transfer from ArtPlay Palette Incandescence was placed to the right side of the photo. I added embellishments from ArtPlay Palette Incandescence, MultiMedia Holiday No 6 and FotoGlows Star No. 1. I finished the layout with the stitching from Stitched by Anna Borders Cream No 1 and the title from Holiday WordART Mix No 14.
