Process: Clipped image to mask and several layers of Rainbow FotoBlendz 1_4; duplicated the mask layer and applied ‘vivid’ blending mode to the two layers; linked all layers and placed on background paper Rainbow Artsy Paper 4. Placed Rainbow Solid Paper 5 over background paper layer and applied ‘difference’ blending mode to the solid paper. Butterflies: Added drop shadow; clipped Rainbow Overlay 1 to butterfly and applied ‘color burn’ blending mode to overlay; duplicated twice, then played with ‘hue adjustment’ and size. Added drop shadow to WordART and filled with white; positioned on layout. Placed MM Rainbow 1_1J around right edge of FotoBlendz; filled with white; and made two copies; merged layers. Softened the hard paper texture (left side of Artsy Paper 4) with soft brush/spot healing tool. Positioned sequins (MM 1_1K) and star element (MM 1_4J/Hard light blending mode) on layout. Added bow with drop shadow (MM 1_2I) to large butterfly. Finished with splatters (MM 1_1F/filled with white) and stain (MM 1_1A/filled with bright turquoise).
