Love the story of the line drying and the images that show the washing on the line and the dryer with a X on it just shows how much we don't realise what harm we are doing, we have an old fashioned airer in the garage which hubby made it is over 6 feet in length and is on a pully most of my washing goes on that if I cannot dry it outside.

Very nicely done page! Love the kitties in the photos too. I grew up when line drying was all there was but now cities like the one I live in don't allow outdoor clothes lines. It's for the looks of things with no regard to the environmental cost.

When I lived in a house I used to line-dry things all the time. Hard to do in an apartment, though. I like the split design of your layout.

Thank you so much for the kind words and interesting comments! Love to learn things like that! Mary your husband is very skillful then, such a lovely story! Jean, this time I'm not even surprised, you have some very strange restrictions, I guess it's again because of the price of the property, as it was with the grass mowing. Angie, the first dryer is for inside use, and too often it finished in my room. Here have matter what is your floor, how you warm the room, and what laundry products you use, as some people are worried about the vapor.
