A composition dealing with my feelings about Covid-19. Eventually I'll add text for documentation.

Photoshop Elements 14

Everyday WordART Mix No. 1 [ link ]
Multimedia Flowers No. 7 [ link ]

This layout use a lot of blending modes, especially color burn.
The background is a stack of Artsy Papers #4 over #1 (color burn) over #2 (soft light).
The images are duplicated and blended together using blending modes, inverted masking, and lots of transfer/overlays. Then the wordart, flower, and APP embellishments were positioned.

Murky and swirly are the words your art evokes. Symbolizes my feelings. So much unnecessary loss in so many ways and sadly more to come.

I agree it expresses everything you feel about this dreaded virus.

Love this as a canvas for the story. Great summary of the emotions, especially with the colors. I already need to make another page, about the dire shortage of food.

This scares me anew looking at it, I guess that's what happening to us. Uncertainty, obscurity, inability to see clearly to the end. Stay well!

I feel the same like you Laura, it scares me very much because it is also in our city our area! My husband and I are in the risk group due to age and diabetes, my husband can not go to Amsterdam for his work, luckily he can work from home on the PC. The cities here seem to be deserted, most shops and all schools and universities have been closed on behalf of the government, you can only get food and go to the pharmacy. Fortunately, we have Internet so that we can keep in touch with our children and grandchildren. I´m so glad you made this stunning page, thanks so much!

Difficult times. I'm glad all your kiddos are close by. Thoughtful piece.

Poignant art journaling, Laura! I can sense the mood and uncertainty expressed in your composition. The Coke sign lacking its red happy color...great design choice!
