Text:
’Tis the season to be jolly! I have numerous, delightful Christmas memories but the one I want to share has nothing to do with toys, shopping, or dancing sugarplums. I’m always a bit disappointed when it doesn’t snow on Christmas. The lack of snow isn’t a total bummer, but more like a sigh accompanied by the fleeting thought, “Maybe next year.”

On Christmas Eve when I was nine, my sister and I dressed for church in our holiday skirts, sweaters, knee socks, and wool coats. Boots weren’t necessary as the chances of snow were slim. Dad parked the car behind the church and we entered the small, Gothic-style building. After a heartwarming service filled with joy, we walked our sleepy selves out the back door of the church. I’ll never forget the sight. A beautiful blanket of snow covered the earth and continued to fall gently, steadily, silently. We all stood in quiet wonder admiring our White Christmas.

Love your story and mine was similar. My parents weren't the brightest bulbs in the chandelier but they were very careful to put magic in Christmas. Snow was a special magic when we couldn't afford -things-, and I feel the way you do when there isn't any.

I am struggling with this kit and have discarded two pages. So hoping your page will inspire me with its beauty.
