Combining the new release with the classic release for another page in my daughter's wedding book.

In her newest video [ link ] Anna talks about mixing and matching digital supplies, and that's exactly what I did here.

I added my photos to the FotoInspired Templates and then trimmed out the spread with elements from the Memorable Artplay Palette: metal word, banner, charm, twig frame, and ladybug. I also summoned two of the brushes (#8, #9) for an edge treatment. When working in the FotoInspired format, I like color or texture at the edges to keep the images contained, and the Memorable brushes, with their sharp edges, were perfect for this. It also didn't hurt that they looked like abstracted puzzle pieces, which went well with the Jenga puzzle theme of the spread. I tinted the brushes to coordinate, and then to tone down the color, clipped two vintage-y layers from the Multimedia Documents 3 set onto the stamped brushes. Because the MM Documents come in a series of layers, it's easy to just cherrypick whatever it is you need from the set.

In her video Anna also talks about the use of the visual triangle to make a layout come together easily-- the brushes serve that function here. I also created a sub-triangle with my placement of the black-and-white photos. This is one busy spread, and the more organization, the better!

What a fun idea for an outside wedding. Love the giant Jenga blocks.
