I was inspired by debby todd's art for this week's AnnaLift. The ballerina is a sketch by Degas with colorings and additional accents from me.

Process notes:
This is a redo of earlier art done in 2017. I used the magic lasso tool to extract the ballerina and bit of the background. I placed this in the upper right corner of SolidPaper No. from the APP Inkling. I then started adding transfers from the APP underneath and over the art, used the blend mode linear burn at varying opacities. I used the lace from MultiMedia Winter Mix No. 3 to form her tutu. Brushed in some inked flowers and extra color to finish the design. Quote was the final touch.
