Journaling: I have never been a fan of cactus. I’m not sure why; perhaps I never had much exposure. However, when I came across the cactus garden at the Florida Botanic Gardens last month, it really did make me stop in my tracks. I found myself drawn to the minute details of the plants, how one leaf had so much texture. I spent a while examining these little beauties and then wandered off again. It’s when I kept coming back to the photos that I realized I was beginning to understand their beauty. Now I can’t wait to go back and see what is new and blooming! April, 2017

Love how you used the edge of the walkway to create your curved white space. Very effective and attractive. The staining is just perfect.
