For Chris's Web Inspiration challenge [ link ]

the sea always filled her with longing, though for what she was never sure - Cornelia Funke

this is a photo i took a few weeks ago.
we were in Santa Cruz and found this tiny piece of beach.
this little girl ran in and out of the waves, never looking back.

process...
There are going to be a new series of tutorials on Anna's blog. This month, the tutorials will focus of the use of brushes. Next month, the topic will be fotoglows. This will be my tutorial page :-) .................... I started with the artsy background and blended the photo over the background. It worked out nicely because the artsy paper was divided like my photo ... sky, sea, and sand. I think there are about 20 shell layers stacked over parts of the sand. The taped textures are added throughout the page. The text is slightly embossed with part of the the word purposely lost in the sea.

Thanks for looking :-)
