Debby, I haven't done my LO yet, but I did change a photo with a nearly solid background to what I wanted to remove. Since PSP doesn't seem to have this tool, I just did a flood fill.

Please, use the Clone Stamp, who cannot work with this technique.

Thanks Jean -- I will check out "flood fill" and if not I will utilize the clone tool ... might have to re-think the photo I selected.
