Hello aArtists!

It’s time for another challenge from Anna Aspnes. The AnnaTeam selects one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Be inspired, create your own ‘AnnaLift,’ upload your page to the Anna gallery and include it here in this forum thread. Upload your page by Friday 01.18.19 by 8:00 pm EST with the title, ‘AnnaLift.’ One lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a $5.00 GiftKard to Anna’s shop.

HOW IT WORKS: Each Saturday the AnnaTeam posts one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Check out the inspiration page and decide what speaks to you. Is it the design, the color, the wordART, or maybe the photo? Then enjoy artfully playing—there is no right or wrong way to ArtPlay.

Choose ONE idea to lift or choose it ALL and lift it completely. Be inspired, create your ‘AnnaLift’ and then upload your page to the Anna gallery, plus include it here in this forum thread. It would be great if you could link back to your page in the gallery too!

Anna’s products mix well with so many kits/designers and Anna welcomes you to include these with your Anna Products on your AnnaLift page.

Coba Resort by isDK

Tranquil and tropical absolutely describes this week’s lift. A brightly colored design showcasing sights from a relaxing holiday effortlessly flows across a two-page spread. One side sets the scene with a lush watercolor sky and palm trees swaying in the breeze. The other side shows several detailed images of the holiday adventure, a repeat image of the palm trees establishes continuity between the pages. Aqua skies drifting across both pages also connect the two while accenting the tropical theme. Recoloring the brushed-in trees is a clever technique that adds extra charm to the languid layout. A soothing color palette of greens, pinks, and aqua with touches of yellow creates a relaxing yet riveting image that captures our desire to bask in the sun without a care in the world. This multi-talented designer/photographer has once again transported us to a serene setting that’s the perfect antidote to the winter blues. And we’re arm-chair traveling with the best.

IDEAS TO INSPIRE: Use ONE or MORE of the following in your AnnaLift layout.
• Showcase a vacation, a holiday, or a fun event.
• Create a horizontal design that flows across the entire page.
• Or try designing a two page spread with one white space page and one filled with several photos.
• Use a brush or two to fill in background like the sky, trees, mountains or water.
• Repeat an image within your layout.
• Use bright colors like aqua, yellow, pink and green accented with white.
• Add a simple title.

Always a fun challenge to lift isDK. Can never quite make the transition to the double page.
