What a great idea for a challenge. I was a paper scrapper for years and my layouts were very heavy with all the stuff I added- lots of layered paper, metal pieces like word strips, pins, staples, paper clips, not to mention all the ribbon and flowers! This brings back memories!

I have spent the past couple of weeks working on a Shutterfly gift album for my granddaughter #3, the baby in these photos... She has just graduated college , working at a fabulous job she totally earned, engaged and life is totally good for her at the moment... I wanted to record some of the highlights of her past year and had an unlimited page option at Shutterfly, so decided to go back in time, and pull photos for a few pages, that no one else actually has... such as her and her grandfather meeting for the very first time, the day before he died in 1997... the Fisher houses are found on AFB bases around the country and it is where families of sick Air Force personal and retirees can stay, at very low cost... a short walk to the hospital, the kitchen was fully stocked with donated items... This album was one of the first I made... I started scrapping a few months after he died, and started with this point of life... July 1997. I scanned some pages and used as is, but this was a collection of photos pulled from several pages... So the photos and cut corners and paper mats are all photocopies of the original ones, extracted from the page... back then we scrapped on the album page... no paper in between!... and the new page built from there... Can't get more authentic than that!!!!

I was a paper scrapper for years but then found digi-scrapping. I still keep my hand in on paper scrapping occasionally. This is my LO for the challenge
