Ben and I are listening to the entire Magic Treehouse series on audio in the car. He is loving it. I am lightly reading Corner of Bitter and Sweet, but between my class and taking the GRE, I'm not getting much leisure reading time. After the GRE it will be a bit better.

Just started on Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by David Leviathan & Rachel Cohn. Love the earlier books of the duo - and everyone else I've read about Leviathan. I'll probably read til the book is done - I'm about to go to bed now so no sleep tonight

It made me so sad at how horrible we can treat "others" not like us (whatever that means). And it makes me wonder WTH we don't learn about these things better in history, it might prevent some of the stuff we are doing to each other in 2012!

But it was a really sweet heart-filling story, wasn't it?

I am reading 2 books right now. One is The Lyme Conspiracy. It is not superbly written and really badly proofed which is irritating me, but the story is kind of neat in how it is mixing some "real" conspiracy from the Lyme Disease Community into a murder mystery.

I am also reading the second novel inthe GreyFriar series. Steampunk/Vampire genre. Not bad..... not amazing, but not bad.

Eva-- 100%. When my kids complain about having to learn hostiry in school, that is exactly what I tell them- and that is has to be changed. Of course, they mostly only learn about the American Revolution and the Holocaust, so there is lots left out missing.

Just finished One Pink Line. A quick read...not great but kept me turning the pages. (It was another freebie from Pixel of Ink...I <3 that place!)

I don't know what hoistry is, but I think it sounds like a fun class! (Love you Chris!!)

I downloaded Gone Girl tonight. I'm getting nowhere with Hotel on the Corner of Bitter & Sweet, but maybe after I take the GRE this weekend, I'll have free time to read again and not feel like I should be studying!

Pixel of Ink huh? Gotta look into that!!
