It's pretty good Chris! "......The lives of these four complex and fiercely independent women intersect in the desperate days of the siege. All are dovekeepers, and all are also keeping secrets — about who they are, where they come from, who fathered them, and who they love. The Dovekeepers is Alice Hoffman’s masterpiece....."

I loved the Dovekeepers too - it was very different from Alice Hoffman's usual style though.

Currently reading and enjoying The Wiseman's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss. Its the 2nd of a fantasy trilogy, the first is called The Name of The Wind.

I really loved name of the Wind and I bought book two when it came out but I still haven't read it yet! I think I might have to read book 1 again before I try tackling it now because its been a while and the plot is really complex. Thanks for reminding me I haven't read it yet!

You know what I CAN'T wait for? .... the last look in the Wheel of Time series!!! OMG I am on tender-hooks!!! Anyone else a fan of the WOT books???

Yay! Glad he liked them. I did get Hotel, just haven't gotten anywhere. I have been swamped. I started taking a class on top of everything else I do and haven't had a spare moment to read for enjoyment. I got Gone Girl too.

I am also waiting for the next Stephanie Plum and the next Castle/Nikki Heat book.

We talked about starting a book club at work, but I don't have time until these classes are over....spring 2014.

This really is a great group over at GR, and I totally agree about Dovekeepers - not a 'light' read by any means but very, very good.

I used to love Good Reads, until I got the Kindle...
Having so many USA friends, every time I click in the books they loved to get them...the prices here in the UK are so high I most definitely can't pay (mind you, I can't pay anything above £2 without feeling guilty as we have a free public library)

and some of the books I read are not in GRR so I can't update...
but I guess is a great thing for people in the same areas...
