Default posting a photo on the forum

I am trying to post an attachment to the forum and I'm having no luck. I do not have (or I can not see) the icons that I need. I have tried following (how to attach a file to post) and I don't see the button labeled "Manage attachments "Am I doing something wrong ? Do I need permission? Or do I have to be approved? Thanks Marcia

Hi Marcia, I am guessing that you are wanting to link a photo or LO to a post in the gallery??

If you want to post an LO from the gallery then see this thread:
https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18158

If you want to post a photo.........you need to upload it to a file sharing site like Photobucket, copy the link, and then use the Insert Image icon (yellow with a mountain pic on it) to paste that link. Please RESIZE your photo so that it is under 150Kb or 600pixels on its longest edge.

Just holler if you need more assistance.

I just joined 52inspirations and I see where you can post your photo there each week, I have no trouble getting it to the gallery but I am however having difficulty posting it to the forum. I do not see a little globe or a mountain . where do I find these? I do see at the bottom of my page Posting Rules

Click on this -

It will ask you for URL of the image, you get that by right clicking on the picture and selecting copy image URL or copy image location

You actually have to have a setting turned on in your control panel to even get the little yellow mountain. If you go to your "User CP" on Oscraps, and go to the very bottom under Miscellaneous Options, under the Message Editor Interface, turn it to Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing. Then you should be able to see the mountains.

Default Posting pictures

I am so confused!!
I have a couple of pictures in my gallery, but they are so tiny and not very clear! I'd love to post them in the 12 days of Christmas forum, but I'm afraid they wouldn't look very good. I see other that are large, crisp and clean.
Also, when I try to upload a picture, they want a URL? What is that about??

Bunny, when i look at your profile i can see your oploads are in a private album, so nobody can see them, only moderators.
You can edit the album and make it public so it becomes visible,
And then copy your layouts to the event gallery.

If you still need help, just ask!

Default Layout resolution

What is the typical resolution for the 600x600 layout? I build mine in 300, but I know they can't stay there or I end up having to resize down to below 100x100!
I am thinking that is my problem?

You need to change the resolution to 72 before resizing your layout to 600X600
