These are statues, obviously... Not sure who they are done by or if they are famous, but they needed to be scrapped and figured close enough for this challenge... I know... not quite what the thought process was...

I chose this statue because I think this is one of the finest works of Auguste Rodin.

Default Expansion

EXPANSION

The sculpture is Expansion, by Paige Bradley; the original, much altered photo is by Anastasia Tank. All alterations due to elements from Anna Aspnes.

Edited to say: I forgot to say why I chose this one. It's because she's so powerful and, um, ... electric.

This is a fun regionally famous statue. Tradition says you need to do the two thums up pose when your picture is taken with the statue. Here's mine:

The Bronze Fonz is a public artwork by American artist Gerald P. Sawyer located on the Milwaukee Riverwalk just south of Wells Street in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin U.S.A. The Bronze Fonz depicts Henry Winkler as the Happy Days TV show character Arthur Fonzarelli, also known as the Fonz.[1] Fonzie stands in his typical costume, which consists of a leather jacket and jeans. He is giving a two-handed thumbs up. Wikipedia

Oh wow, I love the variety and creativity is all of these! I went from seeing pensive, to electric, to humorous all in one sitting! Just fantastic!!
