Err ... thank you Ladies, I only have very small garden ... tiny bity garden ... but a flower is a must have ... at least 1 or 2 of them ... they really make the house look beautiful!

This is actually hard for me, because I literally have like 100 photos of flowers from this month alone!

But I thought I would show something quintessential, the California poppy, which begins to bloom at the beginning of March and should continue for about 2 months until it gets really dry.

So Timounette, what is the difference between a capucine and a coquelicot?

The coquelicot are the red ones I know.

Diane, here's a capucine (an oooold photo and LO, not participating in this photo week yet byt my capucine is dead so I can't take a new picture of it)



and yes coquelicots are usually red and "wild", as in not planted, they just grow in the fields. Cultivated and larger ones are called Pavots but it's frowned upon to do so on a large scale as that's where you can extract opium from ... (the sort of pouch in the middlle)
