Default Challenge No 1 - CREATIVE TECHNIQUES November 2012

Hello everyone!!

Ready for another new technique??? This month we are going to be looking at our Filters again in Photoshop Elements, in particular the Minimum filter.

Now we have all seen those lovely pages that feature a sketched portrait or partial sketch of building or landscape. I am going to show you how to do this using the Minimum filter but remember, like most things, there are several way of doing this type of technique so what I am showing you is one of those various ways.

This is the before and after of the photo that I will cover in my tutorial.

So let's start the tutorial, and my final scrapped page is at the end of the challenge notes!!

RULES:
1. Scrap a page using this technique...for non Photoshop/Elements users I will accept a page done using similiar techniques in your software package - just remember to tell me in the challenge thread what you used/did.
2. You must use 80% OSCRAPS products
3. Your page must be placed in the Number 1 Challenge Gallery by midnight PST Friday 20th November 2012 and linked back to this thread

YOU REALLY MUST HAVE FUN!!!!

Remember to update your post in the monthly Tracking Thread to receive your credit for this challenge (link to new monthly thread).

I was doing pretty well in PSP until the actual Minimum filter step 8. From there I had to improvise a bit, but got such an interesting result (I think.)
