Merry Christmas, Oscrappers!!!
I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and continue in our monthly tradition of 1 kit/5 ways!!!
This month, we’ve chosen the kit “Heaven and Nature Sing” by Forever Joy Designs!
You can get this kit in the store HERE right now to scrap all of this year’s Christmas memories!!
Let’s get right to the inspirational pages from our CheeryOs…
from Diane (dwsewbiz):
Diane says: Red is my favorite color, so I was drawn to this Christmas kit, then when I saw the tape measure, I was sold. I have this thing about rulers and tape measures, I just love them Not having any current Christmas pics that would work, I dug into the physical albums and just picked a random Christmas…this was 1992. Megan and her bear, Sue, both had handmade dresses for Christmas. Megan’s was new, and Sue is wearing Megan’s hand-me-down from one or 2 years previous. I followed Irene’s tutorial on the blog to a tee to create the cluster.
From Diane (Madi):
Diane says: All the elements in this kit are perfect for making Christmas Cards.
I made mine in a round shape, I used the ball shape from the kit to make a shape template
and decorated my card with the 2 birds that are decorating their tree for Christmas.
from Sandrine (timounette):
Sandrine says: I am quite far from the Christmas theme of this great kit. I love those colors, but my Mouse decided differently. So I stay in my favorite style : Clean and Simple. I used a paper as texture, and some few elements and this gorgeous word art. I added a maskfrom Joyce previous kit : Breathe.
from Trudy (taxed4ever):
Trudy says: This kit reminded me so much of the wonderful Christmas days we used to have as kids! My parents did not have a lot to give, but they gave us all the love that we ever needed. That’s what I remember most! We would get one present from Santa and perhaps a new pair of pyjamas. It was a very Magical time for us girls! I am the youngest peaking around the chair, then my sister Pam stuffing her face and sister Wendy with our Cat Zoro on her lap. It’s funny all this time I never really knew what was on her lap, until I opened this picture with photoshop and enlarged it.
from Ellen (kentrabay):
Ellen says: I was trying very hard to make a non christmassy layout with this kit but somehow did not manage. Whenever I see a robin I think of the wise sayings in A.A. Milne’s book.
I used a template by BusyBee.
from Eva (tanteva):
Eva says: Totally true today … I’m stuffed
from Irene (Scrappie Irene):
and from me, Sally (cellomom):
I scrapped on Christmas Day specifically to wish all of you (and all of my facebook friends – teehee) a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
May you be inspired to increase your creativity, hope, and your love in 2013 and all of the years to come!!
Happy Holidays from Oscraps! ♥♥♥
