Hi all !
Here comes our 1 kit 5 ways feature for February.
This month, we picked the gorgeous On the Go kit by Laitha’s Designs, with its rich blue and gold colour palette …
I hope you enjoy it as much as we did !
Here’s from Lilly
I really like that backgroundpaper. It also was perfect for that photo, the colors are perfect for each other!
When I saw the elements wow so real that I could almost touch them…. I just felt like clustering and what a perfect kit for daughter’s show.
The first thing I saw when I started working with this kit was the beautiful butterfly. It just had to be placed on my page. Then I grabbed the open book element and started building my layout. I blended some flowers in the background to get more depth.

I’m currently, among other things, working on pictures from our trip to Cabo last November. I was so amused by these boats full of pelicans in the harbor, so I was mostly drawn to the colored papers in this kit. It was an absolute bonus to discover so many elements that could be used to build a seascape. Even the string of beads, when lightened, looks like fishing floats to me.
I used some paint in the kit as both a mask for the photo and to build around the photo. I love the texture of both the wire and the netting, and love the color scheme that fits so well with my picture.
and lastly here’s mine
I totally loved these blue and gold brushes straight away ! And I had to see them on a plain white background … then I thought of that photo of the girls that’s not so great in quality (grainy and all) but which I love because of the light in it and the emotions in their faces. And I figured the blue & gold would enhance the light. A deep yellow accent with the flower under the frame, and here we are.
Yet another fantastic kit, that offers so many options …
I can’t wait to see how it inspires you all !
