As I’m getting older I seem to forget more . It’s right what they say: everything is getting worse except for forgetting which is getting better and better.
I always struggle with keeping track of what I use in layouts so I can give proper credits. The trouble is that I change my mind too often and Photoshop gets confused , the default option for file handling is only 10 so I run out of that fast.
You can increase the file handling preferences by going to Edit- Preferences- File handling and reset it to the number you would like say 15 or 20. However ..this will eat into your Memory ( the computers that is, not your own)
What I do nowadays is get the Sticky Notes from Windows 7 and write on them , you can click them on and off, add to it and throw it in the bin when no longer needed.
There is another way of keeping credits ,whilst you still have your layout open go to File- File Info and you get a form that opens.
Fill in the title and the details in the description and save. When you now save your layout as a jpeg it will remember the details. All you need to do is go to File- File Info
How do you keep track of your credits?
