HellO O’readers! I hope that you are doing well on this wonderful Monday. We are in the midst of our summer here in Texas and let me tell you, the temperatures are rising. We have a lot of summer activities planned to keep the kids busy. One of the things I enjoy doing in my down time, while the kids are preoccupied, is browsing the O’gallery for inspiration. The gallery is overflowing with fabulous new techniques that I desperately want to try. Here are just a few creations that have caught my eye over the past few days.
I really love the shabby, vintage feel of this fabulous page. The watercolor technique is also brilliantly done.
Charleston, SC by LaurieW
Splish Splash! by babs55 is a real work of art. The title first grabbed my attention. The splashing rain is brilliantly captured in the photos. I am so inspired by techniques used here. The blending here is superb. The masks on the photos are the perfect touch. WOW!
The blended map is the perfect touch when combined with the incredible photo and the addition of the watercolor technique just makes the artist in me so happy.
Float Away by marnie333
Oh the gorgeousness on this page does not stop. I really like the scattered design – it puts in mind of bubbles floating. I think the text wrapped around the life preserver is adorable.
Count the Waves by Cynthiacozumel
go…..but stay by donnagoar is a great inspiration to me. She took a not so great photo (her words and believe me I have my fair share) and made it work seamlessly within her creation. The blending, the masking, and all of the other little touches are all so beautifully melded.
This one really grabbed right at my memory keeper heart strings. An everyday moment captured and recorded!
