The first time I fell in love with scrapbooking, it was because of all of those embellishments, journaling and colors I discovered on paper scrapwork. They give life to pages. One of my favorite challenges was to create a layout by making it as realistic as possible with many elements, multiple photos … and enough shadows. But as far as I progressed in scrapping, I discovered the clean and simple style and I fell in love with it much more than anything else in scrapping.
I love surfing in the gallery and admiring light and bright pages. Let me share with you what keeps my eyes stunned!
The first is by Corinnz. A bright one! The page is simple but the way she pops up the photo with the original frame made all the difference. Love the color, it gives to the page a kind of lightness.
The second is a fabulous page by pam p. Most of the time, when we talk about Clean & Simple, we think only one photo, only one embellishment, title and journaling (or none) … The artsy way to use white space is another tip. So you can make a Clean & Simple page with more than one photo, like this:
Hey, you know what, you can also just put one big photo on your page and that’s all. That’s what Dids did with his page below. A perfect photo, ingenious technique to blend it, sublimate the photo with partial extraction and add some text/wordart. It gives such a dynamic move on a wonderful layout.
The last but not least 🙂 One photo, one frame, one wordart. P’tiscraps chooses great and vibrant colors to brighten up her page. Some paint to frame the photo. A sober pattern paper and you got it :
Now, let us discover how you feel it! Feel free to make your Clean & Simple page and share it with everybody.
