Whew! Recovered yet from all the b-day fun?! The challenges and chatter kept everyone hopping judging by the gallery. It’s stuffed full of digi-goodness (and we LOVE to see that)! Since we adjusted our O My Stars last week to be able to feature more of the challenge layouts, today’s post is a day later than usual so we could focus on all the yummy new LOs (challenge and non-challenge) you’ve posted since last weekend. And do we have some spectacular ones!
Take a look at this beauty by Margeda. Her pro use of color, the frame, text and the theme come together to make one stellar layout. It makes me want to grab an umbrella and step into this layout because it’s so eye-catching.
This next one (Meditate by Bush Girl) is so fantastically composed that at first glance I thought it was a poster or ripped from a magazine page.It has such a fabulously modern, quirky feel to it.
What’s that? Well, in my personal dictionary (the one with words I combine or give new definitions), it means how things connect or the level of connectedness. In March Faves by liahr, I love how each photo overlaps another and gives the implied message that all these varying photos represent connections in her life. Plus, it’s just a beautiful layout visually to boot!
Next is Marijke’s superb Love This layout….and I do love everything about it from the repetition of the two colors in the background that take inspiration from the photo to the unique framing. It all shouts, “Creativity!” to me.
COMPARISONS & CONTRASTS
I LOVE how Lynn shares her family traditions and compares two photos 35 years apart to find the common threads in lynnpremo’s Summer Memories. That’s all the pretties I can share this time. Knowing how much you like to fill up the galleries, this should be easy with all those great new products you snatched up during the sales last week. 🙂 Happy Scrapping!
