Hi everyone !
If you’re like me, with November already there and Christmas lurking around the corner, you’re wondering where this year went …
A good way to answer this question may be to do as those of us who scrap each week a series of photos memorizing events of that given week, in the Project 365/Life/52 forum.
I browsed the gallery and chose a couple of their awesome documenting job to share with you.
Here is ScrapGenie’s week 40. Jean’s nature and flower photos are always a delight, and the colours here are awesome. I love how her journaling simply tells the story of her week and I was delighted to meet Sir Lancelot too … !
LindyShay’s take on her week 41 is priceless … the colours are so fresh and happy, and I love the composition with the various frames and stitches. Someone obviously did not enjoy their bath ! This is the second page (she actually creates twopagers for her weeks). I invite you to check out the title work on the first page, it’s also pretty great.
Here is Heather Prins’ week 43. I totally adore the typography work in this page. It really makes you want to read it. It’s also very interesting how she made all these very different photos and images work together in perfect harmony to create a very elegant page.
Look how Diane (dwsewbiz) worked on the colours in this LO for her week 43. Each photo has its dominant colour(s) emphasized by what’s in its background either through blending or layering or clustering … really very astute ! And you also learn through this LO that if you go and stay at Diane’s you won’t get cold feet : she’ll knit you a pair of socks, and you’ll eat wonderful salads. Diane … you might want to prepare the guest room 🙂
