so when we don’t forget or get too busy with our non-scrapping lives,
or both, that makes it “O My Stars” day!
There are almost too many stars to count, so I am going with quick and dirty gut reaction.
My gut loves Paris, always has, always will, so this page from Marnie leaps right off the screen at me. I never tire of looking at pictures of Paris, be they my own or others. And I love this unique black and white treatment with textures and details added to some of the frames…I may have to lift this one!
Then there is what struck me as a very unusual scrapbook page, until I read it and realized this is part of petey111’s signage project for her library. The imagery is simple and perfect, and the font is too perfect for words. (But I would expect no less from the Font Doc!). I simply love this and would be drawn to the war books just because of the great signage.
Perfect summer colors, imagery and blending characterize this lovely page by ouisiekelly. Blending onto the wood textures, which looks incredibly realistic, so says beach and summer to me, and I love the addition of the colorful hibiscus brushes at the bottom.
I am just gushing at the adorableness of the photos and wonderfulness of the composition of French Food by jetjez. I have to admit of being quite fond of baguettes, french sandwiches and crepes myself (another “gut” reaction)! This little girl is simply precious! What great photo captures!
