Have you ever used a number as a main element on your page? Back during the birthday celebration, we even had a challenge that asked you to include a number in your title, like this one from easyeyes4u.
I was working on something the other day and it struck me how sometimes, I pick a font specifically for how the numbers look. So off I went, in search of some of the coolest number fonts around.
Just like lettered fonts, your numbers need to match the feeling of your page. Are you making a western or cowboy themed page? Perhaps Rosewood would fit your page.
Scrapping about sports? SF Collegiate makes jersey numbers, scores, and more look great.
You can fonts with fairy tale style numbers, bank note style, bingo numbers, prison style and even fractions! One thing to remember though, is that not all free fonts come with numbers, so always check the character map if that’s what you are looking for specifically.
And if you can find an actual font that you like, you can always use alphas! Oscraps has some amazing alphas with numbers in the store. This one that Val made, called “Number Does Not Matter” was used with the birthday bash and has a great variety of styles.
And this one by Paula Kesselring is great for made up license plates or even addresses and mailboxes!
