I am excited to let you know that we have another fabulous guest designer that recently opened her store at OScraps. Please help me welcome Aga of Jimbo Jambo Designs to OScraps. To get this started, let’s learn a little bit about Aga herself.
How & when did you get into digital scrapbooking?
I remember I was looking for some decoration to add to the photos and I have found Vera Lim designs and I felt in love with it. I saw she was hosting a challenge with some freebies and I participated. That was my 1st page I created back on October 17, 2009. Then I discovered templates and I used them in almost every page. I got to the point I was looking for a different kind of template and decided to design some for myself. I started Jimbo Jambo Designs blog and started posting challenges with templates. It was in May 2011. That’s how I started my adventure with designing templates.
What famous location would you like to visit?
I’m a travel addict. I always plan next holiday destinations. I don’t like organized holidays I always plan everything by myself. I’d definitely like to visit Asia – I’m thinking about Thailand, Vietnam and Laos and every islands existing in this world. I’m islands addict!
PC or Mac? What program do you use to design?
PC and I normally work in Photoshop, sometimes it can also be Illustrator.
Where do you get your inspiration when designing a digital product?
Anything can inspire me. As I like to use some funky shapes in my templates normally it’s something I saw on my way or some patterns I saw in internet. I remember once I was waiting for a train and saw a bench with circle cutouts and it´s when I designed one of my circle cutouts.
Describe yourself in 3 words.
Cheerful, funny, open-minded
When you are not designing what are you up to?
I work full time so sometimes it’s not easy to find time for designing and scrapping. When I do have time I try to relax while scrapping or post processing the photos I took. I really like making surprises for my family so I’m normally also in the process of making travel albums or movies from our travels.
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?
My two favourite actors are Julia Roberts and Keira Knightley. I’m very cheerful and fun person so I believe Keira would be a bit too serious. I think I’d see Julia
What is your favorite color and why?
It’s impossible to choose just one! From when I was small I liked blue. It always remembers me about the sky and beautiful clouds. I like very strong and summer colors but black is also on the list as we never have enough of something elegant and classic.
How would you describe your style? Now describe it to a 5-year-old.
My style is very difficult to describe but a few words that can say something about my templates would be, funky crazy, colorful, original and full of surprises.
How did you find your way to OScraps?
