Process...
I clipped the photo to the mask that comes with the .psd version of the MultiMedia Frame. I also placed a copy of the photo over the frame and masked out the areas around my uncle. I layered the transfers around the frame. Some of them are blended over the frame, while others are under the frame. The branch is made up of two copies the bottom layer is normal and the top layer when set to exclusion (happy accident) got me the purple color that went well with the bird transfer. I added the stitches, the tiny beads, some journaling, and a little extra brush work and called it done.

Love the title and the geometric nature of this composition. My family is also from NJ, what a(nother) coincidence! A great photo to have!
