I just read over your blog and saw that you are Certified in Landscape Design. That is something that my DS is considering as a career. I think he would be really good at it and he has the green thumb in the family.
It was delightful getting to read your "backstory>"

Oh, I am so glad you read that!! Not sure if anyone did lol. Yes, I loved Landscape Design! Getting certified was fun too! Took evening classes and it was only for a short time. The teacher there was great...she was also a landscape designer and taught us all the in's and out's of a business like that. It was going great until...well, you read it . He should try it. She should try it, I bet she would love it. It's also a lot of paper work because of dealing with a business.

I will tell him that, he worked at a garden center last year (let go as a seasonal thing but going back this spring.) and he loved it. He is working as a bus boy in a fancy restaurant now and knows that indoor work isn't really for him.

I know I am totally spamming your thread, but I had to go back and check my scrap kits-- one of my all time favorites is one of yours -- Garden Notebook. It all kind of clicked as I read your Bio

Sorry, thought you meant your daughter. But, that's great for him! He would most likely love it! It's being outdoors and doing art all at the same time . And, for extra cash to get started, he can hire a crew to do yard work as well or offer contracts to do maintenance on what he installs .

Glad you liked garden notebook! I had so much fun making it. I should probably do a different one
