Okay, I will show you my very first try at print and cut with the Silhouette Cameo!
No laughing allowed!

That was obviously no success!
The Silhouette is connected to a spare laptop,
the printer is connected to our daily, Always in use laptop!
So when I gave the print command, I used 'one note' so I could send it to my other laptop and printer.

The result, let's call it artsy!

So this week I installed our printer on the other laptop and connected it to the printer and tried it again.

This looks much better!
Not perfect yet, but I think that will be a matter of trying more and more!

Question: Do you use special paper to print ?

I used ordinary print paper for my trial run = 80 grams paper
so I could see where the markers end up

I used heavier paper to use with the cutter = 120 grams paper.

I am thinking of getting 200 grams paper for this,

what do you use for this?

I haven't tried art journaling, but the gallery is filled with inspiration. I can't wait to get started!

I buy this 110 lb from Amazon. It's hard to find higher LB in stores.
But if you want to print and cut and later use gel medium I would print and cut in regular paper.

We will have things for digital as well .Art Journal section here is meant to be for both.
So soon we will start with things that will be for both digital and hybrid/paper art journalers.

Thanks Jana

110 lb would be ca. 160 grams paper for me.
I will have to see what works best for me!

Will update here when finished!

I did, I don't mind when things go wrong,
as long as I know why!
