Default Windows 10 and downloads help!

Received the following email from a customer and since I'm a mac user, I don't know how to help her. Anyone know what to do?

Sorry. Never had any problem like this. Windows 10 worked like a charm for me in general. But two huge specific problems have lured me to Mac. Windows and Adobe don't play together as well as they did before "10," and since Adobe Photoshop is my main purpose for using a computer, I'm throwing in the towel. New Mac should be here tomorrow. =:O

I've started using windows 10 on one of my pc's. You can ask her to message me if she would like and maybe she can say what browser she is using too, along with more info about what is happening that she is having problems with. Is it finding the download folder, or something else? I'd be happy to try to help.

If you are getting a new Mac with the latest operating system on it you will also have to switch your photoshop to a Mac version and sometimes that new operating system does not play nicely with Photoshop either. I had to go back to OS Yosemite to make my photoshop work properly and so afraid to download any updates in fear that I will have to revert back to my factory settings again. I wish you luck!! Let us know how it works out!

No problems on 10 here either. Sounds like moreso a browser issue!

No problems here either.

Depends on the browser probably. Maybe if she didn't set up to ask which folder to save to each time you download, it might get automatically to the Windows download folder and if you forget about it you can spend hours trying to find your files lol (happened to me when I reinstalled everything)

If it's a file not downloading at all I can't help. Sorry

I hope Rae can help her.

Trudy, I guess you meant this for me. This is NOT GOOD NEWS! I've been encouraged by several people to go this route. I am not going to be a happy camper if this kind of issue arises. I'm actually starting out with a refurbished MiniMac just so DH can get my PC SOON. His in death throes, so he needs something right away. I was going to wait until the next version of Mac before buying an iMac.
