Default How to post an image into a forum thread: explanations with screenshots

Just thought pictures are sometimes better than words to explain things... so here you are

FIRST THING: Check that you have allowed to display images on the forum.

Image display is automatically allowed (box ticked) when you register for the first time to Oscraps, but maybe you unticked the box. So let's check.

When you are in a forum thread and scroll down until you have the reply box, you should see this in the bottom left corner. If not, then that means you have to change your User settings.

Go to your User CP (CP= Control Panel):

Scroll down a little until you are here: make sure the box is ticked:

HOW TO POST AN IMAGE IN A THREAD.

STEP 1: Go to your gallery and click on the image you want to link so that it opens in a full screen.

STEP 2: Now that you have you image full screen, RIGHT-CLICK on the image to open the dropdown list and choose: copy URL of the image

STEP 3: Go to the thread where you want to post. Click on the 'yellow mountain icon' to open the dialog box:

STEP 4: Paste the link of your image and click 'OK'

This is how it should look:

STEP 5: Finish to type your text if you have something to say besides posting your photo (!!) and then hit "Submit reply".
This is what you should now have:

Thank you so much!!!
It really is true - A single picture is worth 1,000 words. (and, you posted 6) I really appreciate that you took the time to do this for me and to post my photos too. Such a NICE gesture.
You really made this "newbie" feel welcome!
Sincerely,
marylc

When I right click my layout, " copy URL of image" is not one of my options????
My list reads; VIEW IMAGE, COPY IMAGE, COPY IMAGE LOCATION, SAVE IMAGE AS, EMAIL IMAGE, SET AS DESKTOP BACKGROUND, VIEW IMAGE INFO, and INSPECT ELEMENT.
Can you help me with this? Thanks so much!
