Debra - the drop shadows are awesome! I use PSE and they worked really well for me! Thanks! I am going to be working on a brag book for this challenge. Fun!

ah, i see... ok, thanks for 'splain'n it to me ...

the main reason for asking for png's was because i thought i noticed some of LO's had some pink ribbon/paper.. and i didn't see those things in the kit i have...

I use scrapbook max and i'm not exactly sure how to explain it or convert it either, but i know it would have to be a "white shape" on a black background... white stays.. black is cut away (invisible) - grey shapes make a "see through" effect...

hmmm.. it is possible that i could take the .png shadows you gave, change them to white and then put them on a black background and then save them into my shapes file in scrapbook max.. i could then punch the shadow as a shape and make the shadow any color i want it to be.. do you have an example of how it's supposed to look?

thanks,

~Bekah

The shadow shapes are created when the style is applied so they aren't in the product as pngs...

But Here is an idea which actually anyone can try in their software:

Duplicate the layer you want to create the shadow for and convert it to 100% black (or ideally a darker shade of the bkd paper) so it's like a silouette of the original layer - use that as a base for your 'shadow' - you will need to make it semitransparent and use some sort of blur function to blur the edges then drag it down and to the right slightly. You can even distort the shape slightly to mimic the 'warp' function found in Photoshop CS2 and above...

Cool, glad you like them! I'm not sure how much you can manipulate shadows in PSE but all the style does is create a shadow layer style which you can then adjust in PSE if need be...

Thanks Debra... I'm going to give that a try next time for sure!

I've been playin'...this is my first time creating ATC's and i'm not sure if the corners are supposed to be rounded or not... if so, i'll do them that way next time...
