Default Advent 2014 - Day 4 - Freebie From Lydia Designs

Welcome to Day 4 of our Holiday Advent Celebration. We've already had some fun freebies, an avatar challenge (get in on that if you haven't already) and make sure to check out Day 1's Documenting December. Today we have a couple of fun things for you. The most fun being Lydia's 50% off store-wide sale today. Make sure to check out her shop and grab some goodies.

On top of that sale Lydia has created this fun freebie for you. It was created to match our beautiful collab - City Sidewalks.

Today I'd also like to chat about Holiday Traditions!! What are your traditions? Do you do anything specific with your family? Or maybe you have a fun cultural tradition you really enjoy where you live. Maybe you have a whole bunch of traditions to share or just one or two. Whatever the case...I want to hear them. Tell us all about how you celebrate the holidays.

Thanks Lydia- it is beautiful! Traditions- when you move from your family and when your kids move out, your traditions change. We all do still believe in the magic of Santa and enjoy the giving part of Santa. We also believe in keeping the religious meaning of the holiday- now today I will determine where the creche will be placed this year

Traditions? Not much, just time with the family.
But we do have something special here in the Netherlands, we have 2 days of Christmas!
First and second day of Christmas, so everyone has two days off!

Thank you Lydia!

David and I really haven't developed any. Now growing up we had some. We always opened one gift on Christmas Eve. Smoked turkey for dinner cause my mom always got one free at work. Driving around looking at Christmas lights.

Thank you, Lydia, for the lovely gift... I don't know if this is considered a tradition, but when I was a child we would always open our gifts on Christmas Eve. Looking back on it, I realized my parents did that so we wouldn't wake them up on Christmas morning! I carried on that tradition with my kids ... with one addition. There would be one gift from Santa on waiting for them on Christmas morning.

Thank you Lydia for the beautiful gift!!

When all of the kids(who are all grown up) are home for Christmas, which is not as often as it used to be We always had a Fondue on Christmas Eve, we would stay up late and play board games and then sleep in on Christmas Morning and make the day last as long as we could opening our gifts.
