Happy New Year from Oscraps, and welcome to 2012, the year of Tangerine Tango!
This vibrant color, chosen by Pantone as the 2012 color of the year, is defined by Pantone as
a spirited reddish orange, to provide the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward.
There are plenty of kits from the Oscraps store to provide this colorful energy boost to your scrapbooking.
Here are just a few:

- navigate to where you extracted the ASE file
- click on the ASE file and the swatches will pop into your palette for use with your Eye Dropper tool.
I’ve created my own Tangerine Tango board on Pinterest to collect my inspiration.
It was easy to find layouts in the Oscraps Gallery that feature great use of tangerine colors!
This one by Ella_75 uses elements by Sue Cummings at Oscraps. What better to use for scrapping Tangerine Tango than…tangerines!
This layout from Kimpson uses the Resolutions kit by Kitty Designs & Valorie Wibbens shown above.
How this vibrant color has inspired my scrapping?
Here is a calendar I made for January using Maya de Groot’s P365 + 1 Calendar, plus the Oscraps collabs Bold and Warm & Cozy. Yup, I scrapped a photo of tangerines I was placing on the Christmas Eve dinner table using Tangerine Tango.
I had a great time creating this artsy journal page called Tangerine Dreams using the Oscraps collab Warm & Cozy, Original ArtPlay No 1 and ArtPlay Palette Barren Sunrise from Anna Aspnes, Backpackers 3, An Altered Affair and Fright Night by Maya de Groot, and from Kitty Designs, the Doodley Alpha shown above.
I hope you are inspired to brighten up you scrapping in 2012 with some Tangerine Tango!
If you create something with these colors, be sure to upload it to our Gallery so we can leave you some colorful love!
