Centering

Hello all, have you recovered from the busy christmas days and are you  ready to welcome the New Year ? I’m glad the Apocalypse did not happen as I still have lots of plans for life and just could not imagine that it would all suddenly end.

Just a quick tip today as I know you’ll all be busy making oliebollen ( Dutch tradition) or  sausage rolls and practising the words for Auld Lang Syne so you can sing out loud at the Hogmanay party.

Did you ever struggle to get an element exactly in the centre of your layout? I used to eyeball it or if I was very fussy by creating guides . But now I found an easier way to do it.

Drag your element onto your background

With the element layer selected press CTR  plus  a which selects the whole layout.

Then go to layer -align- selection

from here you have several options to align it slap bang in the middle or to the sides or

top or bottom.

Rests me to wish you all a Prosperous and Healthy and Happy Scrappy New Year on behalf of

all of us at Oscraps

items used are Fireworks -Paint and Glitter clusters(Fireworks)  - Lace Doily Papers
