Another year is coming to a close and we may find ourselves reflecting on all that has happened in 2012. The highs, the lows, and of course everything in between. This gave me a great idea for a journal prompt – Favorites. This is certainly a broad enough topic to work for anyone that is stumped about what to journal.
One way to share your favorites is to create a list of favorite things. Writing in list form is an easy way to include journaling on a page. From your favorite music to your favorite places the topic is completely up to you. Create a list of your favorites on the subject you have chosen. The best part is that there is no set number for your list. It can be one favorite thing or a dozen favorites. How about a top ten list?
Here are just a few examples of list style journaling.
My Favorite Recipe by *Amanda* includes a list of ingredients for a favorite recipe. Yum!

Top 10 Love by cristinatonon has create an itemized top ten list.

Favorite Fall Colors by LaurieW – This is just gorgeous. The photos are gorgeous and the journaling creates a border around the block of images. WOW!

Favorite Things by Applechick a gorgeous artsy page and I really like the paragraph style of the list shown here.

Train Favorites by gavinsmum has included a list of must haves for a train ride.

My Favorite Movies by Dutch_Diva is a great example of favorites, though journaling is not included. The list of favorites is actually created using the images from the movie covers and I think it works perfectly to convey the message!
