Happy Monday! Cynthia here with our 1 Kit, 5 (or more) ways post! This month we chose to feature Paula’s All Scrunched Up, since we wanted to use something soft and flowery to welcome a late-coming Spring. Filled with painty goodness, amazing textures, the coolest brushes and gorgeous ready-made clusters, All Scrunched Up is a must-have!
The CheeryO’s had a blast playing with this kit, and as an added bonus, we’re also featuring pages from Paula’s CT as well as one by Paula herself! (I so love it when designers scrap!) Aaaaaaaand….. We also have a couple of surprises from Paula. If you want to play along with us, here’s a coupon to get the All Scrunched Up Bundle for 40% off! Use the code 40OffPK at checkout. We will also have a random winner for $5 to Paula’s store! Cool, right?
So without further ado, here’s your inspiration with this gorgeous kit:
This was a really serendipitous page. I loved the kit at first sight, such beautiful colors. So I went off to look for recent pictures that might work with the soft pinks and greens. I found some pictures we just took yesterday at the Butterflies & Blooms exhibit at the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco. Only after I worked with the photos, background and blending did I even notice there were butterfly elements in the kit! Meant to be!
From Diane (Madi):
When I saw the kit, I was immediately drawn to the glasses and eyes, so this is what I ended up with.
I loved the elements and variety of papers and thought I could use this kit to make an art journal page with an actual photo. I blended, dropped things on layered and even threw in some meaningful but somewhat hidden journaling.
When I saw the kit, I fell in love with all the gorgeous brushes, so I knew I just had to do something with them. I tried quite a few things, and ended up using them as masks on a couple of beautiful colored papers. The palette guided me towards something soft, and I ended up with this moment of peace and quiet …

And from yours truly:
I’m a sucker for painted backgrounds and layer-y bits, so this kit was perfect! The soft colors, gorgeous flowers and paint splatters were the perfect finishing touches!
