Confused?? Apparently so were we 🙂
We took a month off for the awesome Oscraps 8th Birthday Celebration, but here we are back with our 1 Kit 5 Ways feature.
This month we couldn’t decide amongst the kits, so some of the Cheery-o’s scrapped with 1 kit, and some used all 3.
First the kits, Wish from Dido Designs, with wonderful dots, notions and cool templates!
Cozy, from Jopke Designs, featuring wonderful purples, the color of the year!
and Sakura, from Guest ninogoesdigi, a decidedly spring kit!
And the first layout is from Cindy:
“I love combining different kits, so this was a fun challenge for me. I chose the dark paper because I thought it set off the sunset photo well. I can never pass up the chance to use lots of paint on a layout and these three kits gave me plenty of opportunities to do just that.”
The next is from Scrappie Irene:
“When I saw the colors of this kit, I wanted to play with a photo I took in one of my favorite shops. I took a photo of the present I bought for my mom’s birthday, the antique hetches.”
Madi focused on the Cozy kit from jopke:
“I loved the brushes in this kit!
I do not scrap that many pictures, so I decided to make a card for Mother’s Day.
I combined 3 pieces of wordart to make the text.”
And back to all 3 kits by twinsmomflor:
“Love the colors of the kits. Love the brushes and masks. Playing with the mix of kits was a big treat“
As did Lilly-10
“it was a challenge to mix the kits.
But I love the purple color and i love to blend, so…….”
Sara/Petey111 also used all 3 kits
“I went through the 3 Kits to get a sense of colors and elements and found a lot of relaxing nature items. So that made me look for a relaxing nature picture in my photos…I was thinking of a shot of the lake by our house that we walk at. I found this one from a beautiful late summer day. When debating between a mask or the frame to use, I found I liked this frame because it gave it the sense of a postcard or stamp. And that inspired me to pick notions with lines of text like on a cancelled stamp of an envelope. And to write the journaling as a letter to myself!”
And one more from Lilly-10, just for fun
