The holidays always seem like a time of abundance to me – lots of music, lots of yummy food, lots of parties, lots of guests and well, you get the idea. So in the spirit of this season of extras, it’s the perfect time for our 1 kit 5 ways post this month! Here we show you how to maximize one kit so you can use it in many extra ways – kind of like increasing the abundance of the kit.
This time we focused on Kitty Designs’ Hope and Joy, a sweet kit with a Christmas theme in non-Christmasy colors (love that!).
Some of our talented CT went with a Christmas layout and others went in different directions so you could see how versatile it is and how many different layout looks you could get from this one cute kit.
CT Sara’s take on this could be used as a Christmas card cover or even as framed Christmas decor.
CT Veer created a classic layout with her streamlined design and those fabulous tree cut-outs.
CT Madi picked up on the whimsical vibes of this kit and says she also “blended the papers to make it match my colours for my Documenting December pages and added the date (not included in the kit).”
CT Flor focused on the fun colors and says, “I love the cute elements… Perfect for Christmas pictures.”
CT Timounette used the kit in a non-Christmasy way and says, “I was inspired by the softness of the blue papers which go well with these sweet babies…”
And..well, I just had to be different….(and yes, the crocodile is real and alive and has lots of sharp teeth..and no, I have no idea how those trainers are able to do what they do). I love how traditional this kit can be and how it can also go simple with the solid backgrounds and classic frame or a bit artsy with the painted paper and glitter bits.
So, grab this adorable Hope and Joy kit and let’s see what gorgeous layouts you come up with! Happy scrapping! 🙂
